About Us

Our jewellery making career began in the late 80’s when Ed & I emigrated to Australia from Ireland just like many of the young people today. It was a wonderful opportunity and during our six years in Sydney we learned the art of silversmithing, indeed it wasn’t long before we found what we loved doing most….designing and making jewellery. We sold our first piece in Kirribilli market - North Sydney in 1992 and that was the beginning of retailing our creations.

In 1993 we decided to return to Ireland to set up our first workshop/studio in the Gaeltacht area of Connemara – Carraroe, Co. Galway. From there we began to sell our work in St. Nicholas market Galway City every Saturday for the next six years.

Our clientele grew rapidly and it wasn’t long before some of the leading gallery owners in Ireland approached us to supply them with our work. This was a change in direction as it meant a good bit of repetitive work in order to supply the wholesale trade. It was a great way of creating an awareness of our work throughout Ireland and we continued to supply for almost 10 years. However we began to find that we really missed interacting with our customers.

We really love producing one off pieces and wanted to develop our ever increasing commission range… The “River of Life” range….where we depict a person’s life story using our own unique symbols

So in 2003 we began to concentrate solely on the River of Life range and left our wholesaling days behind.

It was the correct decision as the range has grown from strength to strength..... with pieces finding homes all across the world.

It brings great joy yo our hearts to receive emails and phone calls from our customers telling us of the tears of joy, shed on receiving one of our River of Life pieces. It's very touching for us to hear of the lovely responses to our work

A big thank you to all who have chosen to purchase a River of Life piece.
